President/Business Head – Solar Business

We are a fast-growing company focused on the energy storage (lead acid and lithium- ion batteries), electric mobility and solar equipment space.

We are looking for senior industry professionals (or existing entrepreneurs) from Power Electronics domain who are willing to take an entrepreneurial route and lead our new business segment focused on manufacturing and sales of Solar Inverters and Integrated Energy Storage Systems.

You will be responsible for:-

• Creating Solar inverter and ESS business from 0 – 1
• Developing and commercializing new product lines in the following areas:
• On-Grid and Hybrid Solar Inverters
• Energy Storage Systems (Residential/commercial applications)
• VFD Solar Pumps
• Preparing technology roadmaps and all aspects of the product development from concept Design to commercialization
• Hiring and building teams for R&D, sales and marketing
• Complete P&L responsibility for solar equipment business
• Business strategy in collaboration with the management

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Should have strong technical background with an illustrated carrier in the power electronics domain in Indian/global companies
• Currently, you are ideally leading R&D /Engineering team in a mid to large size company with focus on the Solar Inverter/Energy Storage Systems or you are an entrepreneur focused on power electronics space
• Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills, with experience in building teams and business.
• Frugal engineering capability will be critical to having multiple projects running simultaneously while limiting the cash burn in each individual project.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
• Passion about creating structure and processes that support the development of an amazing work in a creative environment.
• Relevant experience of 15+ years as R&D /Engineering Head/ CTO/ Founder/Entrepreneur in Power Electronics/Solar Inverters

Compensation:-

• Fixed + Variable compensation + Equity stake
