Power transmission System Expert (TSO)

• Work with Platform product managers on global TSO requirements to define product level requirements
• Guide sales teams on standardized TSO product
• Guide Agile team working on advanced control features and ensure that development effort is in line with TSO product expectations
• Develop technology concepts for TSO features Support, guide, and facilitate internal and external Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned, and Management of Change activities.
• Working with stakeholders (internal, consultant etc.) to ensure the program success
• Leverage strong understanding of SCADA system(DAS), Control architecture and deployment, Linux OS system, communication protocols etc to ensure program success
• Experience in model-based development of Fluence’s power plant controller and demonstrate functional & dynamic performance to meet plant-level requirements

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical/electronics/I&C engineering with emphasis on control  systems and/or 5-7 years of work experience
• At least 5 year’s professional work experience in the power industry is preferred
• Strong working experience of PLC,  RTAC and their peripheral
• Strong experience MODBUS RTU, TCP/IP communication
• Demonstrated experience working in energy storage, inverter-based resources such as solar, wind together with network operators.
• Understanding power system control system architecture for Renewable power plant (specifically BESS power plant)
• Understanding of power system analysis and control simulation tools (e.g., PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB® Simulink®, PSLF, ETAP) including automating using python scripting will be a preferrable skill set.
• Knowledge of utility grid interconnection standards, such as UL/IEEE standards, North American ISO/RTO requirements, European grid codes, AEMO (Australia)
• Passion and entrepreneurial drive, ability to prioritize and execute many parallel tasks
• Experience & ability to work In a high pressure environment.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and effectively communicate results
