Power BI and Automation Analyst

This is an individual contributor role that helps decision makers across the organization with the right kind of insights and helps drive digital optimization through automation.

The ideal candidate will have an impactful experience in delivering insights through Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI and has sufficient knowledge of digital optimization tools such as PowerApps and PowerAutomate.

The focus of this role is to create dashboards, reports and other automations that allows the organization to optimize workflow and drives action thru insights.

Responsibilities:-

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports from enterprise data residing on-premise and on the cloud.
• Create automation of workflow through tools such as PowerApps and PowerAutomate to drive efficiency and optimization.
• Work independently with business users to understand requirements and provide solutions that helps them go from “what” to “so what” to “now what”.
• Create solutions using an agile, iterative approach to show incremental progress to the end users.
• Update project tasks and due dates in a timely fashion to keep stakeholders apprised.
• Effectively communicate and present completed projects to the business.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• 4+ years’ experience with BI tools, preferably PowerBI. Good knowledge of DAX preferred as well.
• 2+ years’ experience with automation tools, preferably PowerApps and PowerAutomate.
• Knowledge of SSRS, SSAS and SSIS will be huge plus.
• Sound knowledge of RDBMS is essential to be successful, MS SQL highly preferred.
• Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and semantic data model (multidimensional and tabular) concepts.
• Experience working in an offshore environment under limited supervision.
• Above average communication skills to work with, problem solve and train business users.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent desired.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail in both administrative and project/program activities.
