PM-Maintenance & Quality

We are now looking for a Project Manager Engineering to drive current projects and you will work with cross functional, global teams to deliver technical solutions (HW, SW and/or both) with agreed QDCF target for Energy Storage Systems. At our section, we are accountable for the lifecycle management of the ESS, from advanced engineering, throughout product development into the maintenance phase.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead and manage the project according to Volvo GTT methodologies, standards & processes, using decided systems and valid guidelines.
• Drive and follow-up all aspects of the project, manage stakeholders, analyze, communicate and minimize risks, delivering the project and product on time with agreed QDCF (Quality, Delivery Cost, and Features)
• Project cost estimate including internal and external development cost as well as tooling related to developed parts (in co-operation with Purchasing)
• Create and manage a cross-functionally anchored Project time plan aligned with IB and make sure the L4 time plan is available for all components/technical areas.
• Follow up and make sure the releases and other relevant activities are done as per time plan.
• Represent Energy Storage Systems in relevant decision and governance forums.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Great team player with agile mindset
• Strong communication skills and proven collaboration skills in multicultural environment
• 6+ years of automotive Product Development
• Several years of previous experience as Project Manager
• BE/MTech in E&E/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Volvo GTT systems and development process knowledge is an asset, particularly DVP, PGT and KOLA.
• PMP Certification is an asset
• Previous experience in development of electromobility components or systems is an asset
• Experience of managing Maintenance Projects with a strong Quality focus
• Strong Stakeholder Management
• Knowledge on RCA’s & Quality Tools
• Focus & Drive on Quality Issues coming in from Projects or Market.
