Plant Setup Manager – Solar Module Manufacturing

Soleos Solar Energy Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Plant Project Manager to oversee the establishment and operationalization of our new solar module manufacturing plant. This role is critical to our expansion efforts and requires a candidate with a strong background in solar module manufacturing plant set up, excellent management skills, and the ability to navigate international partnerships and logistics. The position involves significant foreign travel, offering a unique opportunity to influence solar manufacturing on a global scale.

Responsibilities:-

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead the project from inception through to completion, including planning, site evaluation, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• International Coordination: Manage relationships with international suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies, including foreign travel to secure materials, technologies, and compliance with global standards.
• Regulatory and Financial Liaison: Work closely with government agencies and financial institutions in multiple jurisdictions to secure permits, approvals, and funding.
• Supplier and Contractor Oversight: Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and contractors to ensure the highest quality of materials and services at competitive prices.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Guarantee that all aspects of the plant setup and operation meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in setting up solar manufacturing plants.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects with international scope.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing international suppliers and contractors.
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for solar energy, both domestically and internationally.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid passport required. Candidates must not have been refused a visa to any country previously.
