Plant Controller

Completes budget planning, financial planning, actual-versus-plan-analysis, benchmarking, forecasting and reporting activities, for the management of an assigned organization unit.

Supports accountable management in planning and calculating yearly budgets. Consolidate budgets, including top-down and bottom-up plans, and proceeds with revolving midterm plannings, and periodic forecasts during the year. Performs comparisons Actual vs. Plan, and pursues effects of agreed measures. Analyzes and evaluates cost structures, and builds, maintains and improves the depending cost accounting system. Provides regular business reports, with respect to overall performance, and recommends actions to accountable management. Carries out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations. Contributes to conceptual and project work related to controlling. May perform evaluations of assets and liabilities, and manages inventory measures on a regular term.

Electric Plant Controller – Requirements:-

• Plant controller (Deputy /Manager level)
• Total Experience: 8 – 10 years.

Responsibilities:-

• Analysis of BOM for standard costs release, purchase price variance analysis to set the rates for standard /future costing
• Perform monthly cost run activities, closing entries in SAP, and prepare & provide comparative for all manufactured products,
• Perform different activities related to Inventory, Age wise Inventory analysis & Provision of Slow Mover Inventory. Treatment of shortage / Excess
• Analysis of Plant expenses –absorbed & unabsorbed,
• Preparing Inventory, Production, consumption related schedules for MIS
• Periodical preparation of BU profitability Analysis, actual vs budget analysis, data support for the monthly KPI’s etc.,
• Preparation of various analytical files for to support analyzing monthly performance & Statutory compliances
• Co-ordination with various team for AGORA Project implementation. (SAP)
• Coordinating with Statutory / Internal auditors /Cost audit for various quarterly and annual requirements
• Support for working capital management – stocks, receivables, advances & payables.
• Others – NCR, capex reporting, PR approval, Product pricing offer and any other report as and when required by the management.

Skills and Qualifications:-

• Qualification in Chartered Accountant (CA)or   Cost and Work Accountancy (CWA)
• Possess 5 or more years of relevant experience preferably in manufacturing environment. Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Possess 8-10 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing environment. Proficient in SAP (FI CO modules)
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel
• Required to Travel for works at Nellore Plant.
• Priority – Immediate joining / Internal Transfer if any
