People Services Director

The purpose of this role is to lead and shape the People Services agenda, with a strategic, as well as operational, overview and working to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery. This role partners and works collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve the service delivery for the business.

Responsibilities:-

• Defines the vision and strategy for the people services function, shaping the delivery of HR services to ensure a high performance and employee-experience focused transactional HR service that is continuously improving
• Establishes and leads a successful People Services function that provides a dedicated single point of contact for first line query resolution for in-scope HR processes through to resolution, evolving as new features and markets come on board
• Builds and develops a team that provides accurate and up-to-date policies and processes and advice and guidance to customers
• Promotes continuous improvement principles across people services, focusing the team on service delivery improvements and developments in light of trends and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce costs of the service model
• Designs, implements and continually reviews procedures, structures, solutions and processes that deliver continuous improvement, including the ongoing adoption and improvement of HR technologies that deliver automation, excellent customer experience and self-service
• Develops and implements business-focused performance measures and Service Level Agreements, and provides robust financial and performance intelligence that clearly identifies the achievements, value and continuing improvement of People Services, capturing the overall benefits realised
• Provides leadership and a clear sense of direction and purpose that enables the team to deliver high quality services, and engage key business and HR stakeholders to promote and develop the people services function
