Mechanical Engineer – Platforms CoE

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Design of Mechanical sub-systems like Precession Machined Aluminum Chamber bodies, Vacuum seals, Structural Frame weldments, selection of gages, Vacuum and Venting systems design and mechanical packaging of Electronics & Controls of Semiconductor processing equipment. Preform feasibility studies and testing of new and modified designs. Development of Test stands required for qualifying modules designed as part of new product development. Support to Manufacturing on Products transitioned to Volume Manufacturing.

Our Ideal Candidate:-

• Mechanical engineers who have worked in Machine Design OR Medical Equipment Domains are preferred.  If someone has experience designing & Testing Vacuum systems or Similar Equipment, it would be helpful.

Educational Qualification:-

• BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical Engg.)  / ME/ M.Tech with any Mechanical Engg related specialization.

Experience:-

• 6 to 10 years of Experience in Design and experienced in New Product Development process.

Additional Qualifications:-

• Requires strong skills in problem solving, change management, communication skills, customer orientation, personal effectiveness and project management. Application Knowledge of GD&T and Root cause analysis. Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as UG /NX and Team center.
• Experience working in a remote and matrix organization is preferred.
