Mechanical Designer

Key Responsibilities:-

• Study the process requirements and site condition to design and plan the mechanical system that can support the process operation work.
• Plan and prepare layout to analyse the space requirement, road access, maintenance space, location of equipment, and requirement of pipe rack.
• Prepare piping layouts, isometrics and perform stress analysis as required.
• Prepare piping specifications and list such as pipe material specifications, valve data sheets, painting, insulations specifications, piping specials specifications.
• Responsible for coordinating assigned scope of work with other disciplines to generate a clash free design. Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer. A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

General Requirements:-

• ITI /NCTVT – Mechanical Draftsman / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial/commercial MEP design, development of general arrangement drawings, piping layouts, piping spool drawings, etc. using 3D and 2D design tools. Conduct pipe design Analysis. Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D is a must.
• Working knowledge of International codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASME, International Mechanical code, International Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, International Building code, NFPA etc.) used in Food and Consumer Industry, Manufacturing, Industrial and Commercial projects.

Qualifications:-

• The candidate should have a Diploma/ITI certification.The candidate should have a minimum work experience of 7years

Tools:-

• Tools: AutoCAD Plant 3D is a must. Knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD AutoPipe, CEASER etc. is a plus
• Coordination Tools: Navisworks Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote
