Manager-Testing & Commissioning

• To lead the T&C Function for Renewable Energy Division.
• Support, define and organize the start-up, testing and commissioning activities for Solar PV Projects.
• Ensure all T&C activities related to plant start-up and commissioning according to defined T&C procedures and completed within schedules.

Key Activities (Role & Responsibilities):-

• Installation and testing of electrical system i.e.  switchyard equipment’s, Inverter Transformer, MV/LV/DC Cable, String Combiner Box, MV/LV Panel, Relay testing & cable schedule.
• Installation and testing of electrical equipment includes Transformer, MV/LV Panel, MV/LV/DC Cable, String Combiner Box, PV Module, Earthing system, Tracker System & Inverter.
• Study and execute the project planning as per given SLDs., Power and control scheme and equipment drawing and mentioned BOQs /BOM
• Planning, coordination between Project manager/head and vendor team for timely completion of the Project, Erection, commissioning activities of & transmission line (Double circuit) as per IS and International standards.
• Simulation check for WTI, OTI, MFM and protective relays for remote operations and monitoring.
• Erection and commissioning of Switchgear equipment with different size of power and control cables.
• Performing pre-commissioning check.
• Documentation regarding quality compliances, pre-commissioning, post-commissioning test report carried out with the vendor.
• Execution of the DC work for both thin film and polycrystalline including cable stringing and SMB/SCB testing
• Prepare installation and testing procedure and protocols.
• Prepare forecast manpower deployment plan basis project manager schedules as per project completion.
• Reporting of preparations on Daily/ Weekly/Monthly/Half yearly/ yearly and a per requirement of Client, stakeholders & HO.
• Following the instructions of Plant Project Manager and Site Construction Managers to resolve critical and time-sensitive installation and testing related issues.
• Ensuring safety standards of the site to perform installation and testing of electrical equipment’s.
