Manager-Supply Chain Management

Procurement of all materials like Solar Inverters, Transformers, HT Panels, Cables, UPS, Earthing material, etc for Ground mounted Solar Projects.

Key Activities (Role & Responsibility):-

• Co-ordination with internal customers.
• Vendor Data base.
• Identification of New Vendors.
• Support to functions for new vendor assessment.
• Supports to BD team on vendor base and techno commercial solutions (Need basis).
• Proposing the available alternate solutions to BD/Engineering for time and cost effectiveness.
• Support to planning function on lead time for ordering and deliveries, to facilitate the preparation of L2/L3 Schedule.
• Retaining the Project Wise L2/L3 Schedule for ordering and deliveries.
• Receipt & Release of PR along with RFQ documents.
• Sending RFQs to prospective vendors and follow up to get the techno commercial offers
• Facilitate between engineering and vendor to expedite the technical closure.
• Obtain the commercial offers from vendors.
• Commercial evaluation and negotiation.
• Knowledge of Reverse Auction process.
• Submit the proposal for management approval and obtain approval on purchase decisions.
• Preparation & Release of PO in SAP.
• PO release to the vendor and follow up to get the documents submission to client.
• Coordinate with vendors for Kick off meeting with planning and engineering.
• Facilitate between vendor and Engineering for MCN.
• LC opening and logistics arrangement.
• Delivery follow up with vendors till receipt of materials at site.
• Obtaining the ABG and PBG from vendors
• Addressing the invoice related queries between vendor and finance for booking.
• Compliance to the SCM Process.
• Good Knowledge of LC process and documentation.
• Manage the team & allocate the work as per workload.

Education And Experience:-

• Graduation in Engineering (B. Tech/B.E.)
• 12 Years+
