Job Description

The HVDC Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the supply chain processes involved in the procurement, logistics, and distribution of components, materials, and services related to High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems. This role ensures that all supply chain functions are performed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with project timelines and budgets for HVDC projects. The position requires a solid understanding of HVDC systems, as well as the ability to manage suppliers, materials, and logistics for large-scale power transmission projects

Responsibilities:-

  • Strategic Supply Chain Management:
  • Develop and implement a strategic supply chain plan specifically for HVDC projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, supplier management, logistics and inventory control.
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure that materials and equipment required for HVDC systems are sourced and delivered on time.
  • Supplier Selection & Relationship Management, Vendor Development

Critical Success Factors – Essential:-

  • B.E Civil / Electrical/ MBA
  • 6- 10 years of exp

  • Must be from core HVDC Projects end (End to End SCM)
