Manager – Lead OEM Coordinator

We are seeking an accomplished Renewable Energy SCADA expert with a strong technical background in IT networking, firewalls, and operational technology (OT) security. As the SCADA expert, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of SCADA systems, emphasizing cybersecurity, network resilience, and the seamless integration of OT and IT environments within renewable energy projects.

Specific Responsibilities:-

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate SCADA systems with various renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, hydro, and energy storage
• Interact with SCADA solution providers for implementation of Wind and Hydro unified Tier-2 SCADA
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new assets onto Tier-2 SCADA
• Provide technical support for SCADA systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation for SCADA systems, including standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Develop and implement testing protocols to validate the performance and reliability of SCADA systems
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential issues in the SCADA infrastructure
• Develop and maintain robust IT networking solutions through ReNew IT team to support SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure and scalable networking infrastructure for seamless data transmission
• Facilitate data transfer to Forecasting and SCADA solution providers through FTP, SFTP, OPC or API etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with SCADA system specifications
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions
• Daily co-ordination with Wind OEMs for uninterrupted data access
• Ensure end to end data communication from assets to cloud without any interruption, 24X7
• Implement and oversee IT & OT security measures in co-ordination with ReNew IT team to safeguard SCADA systems from cyber threats specific to industrial control systems.
• Stay current with OT security best practices and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
• Stay well informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in SCADA systems.
• Conducting proof of concept studies for SCADA based predictive analysis solutions
