Manager – Instrumentation & Control Lead – Engineered Solutions

• As Manager Instrumentation & Control, you take full ownership of Instrumentation & Control design as well as Electrical design for our Engineered Solutions orders. You design product variants based on specific customer specifications/requests and deliver these custom design orders on time in full. You will ensure high quality of design standard of each delivered custom designed product.
• You will be responsible for the development of Electrical as well as I&C competency in the organization, competency development, development of new techniques and reduction of cost and handling of project execution of I&C in close coordination with various project teams within the agreed scope of supply, meeting customer specifications, timely deliveries, within the agreed price from the point of view of customer
• From the company point of view you would be responsible for controlling the costs by innovative solutions, first time right engineering solution, standardization, optimization to maintain or improving the margins and maintaining the databank for the executed jobs for the future reference and also supporting proposal team during pre-bid process.
• Candidate should have verification of the electrical design concept can fulfil the requirements of the special-order project scope; lead discussion about corrective actions when needed. This involves the evaluation of electrical design, motor starting, method, control panels design, communication protocol and hardware design, ex-proof standards (ATEX/IEC/NEC), electrical BOM, drawings. Verification all the other points within the design review check list.
• Experience with variety of electromechanical design, control panel design, Instrumentation, PLC configurations with programming and analysis w.r.t. package/skid wiring. Candidate should have experience with electrical schematic capture, wiring diagrams, parts database structures, BOM structures, and engineering change management.

Responsibilities:-

• Contribute to the company’s mission to become the benchmark product company within AC group by ensuring high reliability of the Engineered products with a First Time Right approach.
• Exposure to software and hardware design specifications for various PLCs make is added advantage.
• Proven experience with control Panel, Junction box, instrumentation and it’s accessories selection and sizing
• Experience in field trouble shooting, commissioning and start-up of control systems is added advantage.
• Participate in Customer Hazop and SIL meetings.
• Drive FAT/SAT at vendor or customer place for tailor made projects based on customer specifications.
• Leads the development and/or improvement of new and existing products for design change, cost reductions, warranty improvements, and ease of manufacturability.
• Take ownership in the field of Electrical engineering for Custom Design orders and lead it from request from Customer, till delivery of the product. You coordinate tasks to respect to the set planning.
• You work closely with Projects, Sourcing, Planning, Production, Quality, and Aftermarket to implement the proven designs in Oil free/Oil injected/ Quality Air products.
• You design and release solutions for custom designed products, OEM applications and options, should be able to select the bought-out parts.
• You are a team player & evaluate customer requirement as per proposal contact and order specifications with available resources.

Educational / Knowledge / Experience requirements:-

• University degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical or equivalent post-graduation.
• Min10-12 experience in engineered products Engineering/Project management/manufacturing/packaging.
• You are expected to have a proven leadership skills;
• Good command of English (both oral and written)
• Experience in BPCS/POLS /SAP/PLM/Autocad system/E-Plan, Enovia and MS Office.
• Product and packaging knowledge , skills in OFA (Oil Free Air) products would be preferred
• Certification courses in software & database will be added advantages,
