Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract and Commercial Manager to join our team at Serentica, a leading renewable power developer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in contracts and commercial management, with experience in wind contracting, strategic commercial planning, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities:-

  • The role will be responsible for managing the contract lifecycle, driving business growth, securing new client contracts, and enhancing service offerings.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, from discussion to execution, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate favourable contract terms with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and execute strategic commercial plans to drive business growth, secure new client contracts, and enhance service offerings.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and commercial activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of projects.
  • Provide commercial support to project development, construction, and operations teams.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform commercial strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Company Overview:-

A business partnership born out of friendship and mutual respect in the 1920s between Shapoorji Mistry Sr. and Mehervan Daruvala, the latter’s company Wilson Electric Works served as an electrical contractor for Shapoorji Pallonji Construction, working on some of India’s biggest commercial and residential projects.

As the relationship blossomed, Wilson Electric Works joined forces with Sterling Investments of the SP Group in the year 1973, to form the engineering behemoth that is Sterling and Wilson.

Starting from delivering large-scale projects in the middle-east in the 1970s, we quickly expanded our presence across Asia and subsequently across the globe, our projects spanning 8 different verticals.
