Manager-Civil (GIS)

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst with background in Civil Engineering and surveying techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in GIS projects and proficiency with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and AutoCAD. The role involves DEM data processing, sourcing digital data from public domains, and conducting terrestrial surveys. Additionally, the GIS Analyst should be capable of collecting GIS data from various sites.

Responsibilities:-

• Utilize advanced surveying techniques such as Total Station, DGPS, Lidar, and Drone technology for data collection and analysis.
• Execute GIS projects using QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and AutoCAD.
• Process Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data efficiently.
• Source and integrate digital data from public domains to enhance project outcomes.
• Perform terrestrial surveys to collect and validate spatial data.
• Collect and manage GIS data from various sites, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with other team members to support project goals and deliverables.
• Provide technical support and guidance on GIS-related matters as needed.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in GIS projects with hands-on knowledge of QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with DEM data processing.
• Strong understanding of terrestrial survey methods.
• Ability to source digital data from public domains.
• Proficiency in using advanced surveying tools such as Total Station, DGPS, Lidar, and Drones.
• Excellent data collection and site survey skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:-

• Experience in handling large datasets and performing complex spatial analyses. Knowledge of geospatial data management and database systems.
• Certification in GIS or related fields is a plus.
