Lead Project Engineer – Pharma Batch Process

You will be working as Lead Project Engineer – Pharma Batch Process and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading for all engineering activities in assignments classified as low engineering complexity. Ensuring that activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:-

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks, for conventional projects with few complex features. Executing assignments using established solutions
• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors
• Providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities. Assisting in creating proposals for projects through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimates and performing engineering risk analysis before submitting proposal
• Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within ABB, coaching project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, proto-typing and calculations
• Evaluating risks, opportunities, strategizes mitigation of one’s engineering projects or programs and supporting the project manager in overall project risk, opportunity assessments and implementation of resulting actions
• Creating work plans and cost estimates for the project in consultation with respective project managers and ensuring quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost

Qualification And Experience:-

• Diploma or B.E or B.Tech in Control and instrumentation or equivalent
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in designing, programing, implementing, testing, document process control applications and develop control system validation or testing protocols
• Experience win ISA 88 batch standards, batch design, production management or scheduling and batch management programming. Developing software (FDS, SDS) and hardware design specifications as applicable to Pharma domain
• Experience of development in recipe management and procedures as applicable to batch production process and executing pharma projects as per V-model and GAMP standards
