Lead – Production Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Gujarat, India Job Posted : Mar 26th, 2024 Job Description Responsibilities:- Monitor and control production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production requirements with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance functions. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, operational protocols, and industry best practices. Lead and supervise a team of production supervisors, operators and shift in charge. Establish performance objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning. Identify training and development needs for the operations team and facilitate appropriate training programs. Coordinate with the PPC and demand planning teams to ensure accurate production planning and scheduling. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs. Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirement. Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
