Lead Principal Applications Engineer

• Work with marketing to define the features applicable for specific verticals and drive that with cross functional team
• Define and drive performance analysis per customer use cases
• Own the data representation for key WiFI features across our solution including datasheet and other application notes
• Work with marketing and customers for use case analysis and bridge that with WPP collateral requirements
• Work with marketing and applications and R&D teams to respond to customer RFPs
• Be the mentor for junior engineers and work closely with the team to define the right collateral and features for customer use cases.

Qualifications/Requirements:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronics
• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in WiFi (across different standard and features) and embedded development

• Experience of driving activities to influence code quality and process rigor
• Enthusiastically follow technology trends, software engineering best practice and technologies while enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems
• Ability to drive strategy and realization plan within areas of focus for WiFi features and newer standards relevant for IoT solution
• Interfacing with multiple cross functional teams as well as close interaction with customers
• Collaborate with product marketing and software, design and other teams to define the product scope
• Strong technical expertise in the area along with an eye to continually evaluate industry software design & performance metrics, challenge the status-quo and keeping high standards for quality and customer satisfaction
• Resource hiring, coaching for exceptional performance
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and drive alignment toward end-results
• Represent team on different broader forums and in leadership updates
• Foster a culture built on Infineon High Performance Behaviour Model
