Lead Engineer – EPC Draughtsman

The Global Construction EPC department is part of the Global Construction Management department. Its main scope is the maximization of the value provided by the regional Construction teams for both onshore and offshore wind projects to the overall organization. This is achieved by supporting the development and implementation of best practices and tools, in collaboration with other functions and regional teams.

Responsibilities:-

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create accurate and detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers and designers
• This includes creating 2D and 3D models, profiles, alignments, cross-sections, and grading designs
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawing sets, revisions, and records of changes
• Ensure that drawings are properly labeled, organized, and conform to industry and company standards
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes into drawings
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure adherence to project standards, accuracy, and completeness
• Identify and resolve any errors or inconsistencies in the drawings, and make necessary revisions based on feedback from project stakeholders
• Ensure that drawings and designs comply with relevant industry codes, regulations, and standards
• Stay updated with the latest software advancements, industry trends, and best practices related to AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting
• Organize and maintain digital files and project data in a systematic and accessible manner
• Maintain version control and backup files to ensure data integrity and security
• Seek opportunities to improve drafting processes, workflows, and productivity by using AutoCAD Civil 3D tools and features effectively
• Provide recommendations for software enhancements or updates to improve efficiency and accuracy

Qualification And Experience:-

• Master’s / Bachelor’s / Diploma in Civil / Structural / Similar specialization
• Certification in Civil 3D software is desirable
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is good to have
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software and related tools for creating civil engineering drawings and designs
• Significant knowledge of civil engineering principles, terminology, and practices
• Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering principles, terminology, and practices
