Lead Design Engineer Mech HVAC-Pkg

Responsibilities:-

• Review and approval of various deliverable contents and formats
• To review and improve engineering processes

• Checking and approval of deliverables Heat load, P&I, Utility flow diagram, utility estimation, ducting, piping drawings, equipment data sheet, Insulation specifications & thickness, reflected ceiling plan and interface.
• Familiarity with HVAC software like Hourly heat load calculation, Energy modelling
• Interdisciplinary co-ordination
• Commissioning support and resolution of site queries
• Providing Technical Guidance to subordinates

• Review and approval of vendor offers and TBE
• Inspection of vendor material  

• To plan deliverable schedule and co-ordinate with project control
• To review job progress and liaise with Principal Engineer/HOD for catch-up plan
• To determine manpower requirements and other resources
• Provide status report & feedback of team activity to HOD

Proposal Engineering:-

• Review and approval of HVAC budget estimate for project
• Review and approval of man hours estimate for HVAC related engineering activities

• To attend technical training and seminars
• Continuously review obsolescence of HVAC equipment and evaluate application of new technologies

Responsibilities when operating as a part of Project task Force

• Review and approval of Reliance specifications & procedures

• Participate in value engineering at the outset of the project

• Resolve all inter-disciplinary issues.

• Administratively report the project manager and functionally report to principle engineer 

• Responsible for all review work conducted by other design engineers

• Responsible for all interfaces between other discipline lead

• Responsible for the interface with Central Material Control group for the requirements of semi bulk/bulk item

• Sizing and selection of HVAC Equipment / systems

• Statuary and mandatory requirements
