Job Description

To be a strategic partner to our businesses, making the ‘brand’ truly integral to all functions across the organization from product development to communication; identifying creative solutions to activate the power of our brands

Objectives:

  • Create strong Brand Fundamental: Be a true strategic partner to the business; developing the blueprint (brand strategy) and footprint (brand management) of the brand(s) within the SE portfolio
  • Co-Create: Be able to harness the power of collective wisdom where all centers of expertise come together, collaborate, co-create in striving towards one common goal/ambition – making ‘brand’ truly integral to all functions across the organisation from product development to communication.
  • Disciplined Creativity: Develop co-creation to be able to harness the power of collective wisdom and striving towards one common goal/ambition:  a brand building plan with the right focus and sequence to build brand and business together
  • Identify actionable solutions for development: Bring our business creative and actionable solutions that serve the double purpose of increasing sales and profit impact of their relationships with the market and reduce the risk of their termination

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To be part of the core senior Brand team in driving the Marketing Transformation by building brands to drive business results; specifically:
  • To be part of the senior brand team in defining the Vision and Brand Strategy for the company e.g. company name, associated brand strategy etc.
  • To be part of the senior brand team in defining the Brand Culture within the company in relation to the Brand To Order framework
  • To initiate any Thought Leadership initiatives to build credentials for the Team, also as a means to instill brand planning and collaboration within the team
  • To engage with all Businesses (allocation to be decided at a later stage) to define and finalize all Brand-related aspects from portfolio management, brand architecture, brand positioning, brand expression and brand management –covering but not limited to the Master brand and Associated/Independent brands, Range/Concept/Program names (this will be part of the Branding and Naming Project that would span over 2 years)
  • To lead the Brand Migration initiative especially in relation to M&A
  • To drive initiative that allow the team to be intimately engaged with our Customers (continuous)
  • To drive Talent Development initiative in advance our knowledge and skills set in the world of branding

Key Skills/Attributes/ Job Specific Competencies:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Brand Management/consulting agency (or any equivalent)
  • Experience in B2B and Technology clients, a bonus
  • Specialization in Brand Migration
  • Manager of a team (cross-country)
  • Ability to work within cross-culture dynamics
