Intern- Energy Consulting Team

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct energy market analysis to support ongoing projects.
• Utilize GIS skills to map substations accurately to their correct locations based on base map Google imagery.
• Create new point shapefiles based on reference maps and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform digitization tasks, including creating, editing, and managing GIS data layers.
• Ensure proper projection settings and coordinate systems for all GIS data.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate GIS data into larger project workflows.
• Maintain organized records of GIS data and project documentation.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Basic understanding of energy markets/basic understanding of power systems concepts.
• Proficiency in GIS software, specifically ArcGIS Pro and QGIS.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Basic GIS knowledge, including digitization, projections, and shapefile creation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present findings clearly.
