The role will be focused on delivering services in the renewable energy sector as either Owner’s Engineer or Independent Engineer which may include: feasibility studies, project design, project development services, technical due diligence, construction monitoring, acceptance testing, performance and operational services, as well as involvement in winning and delivering new projects across the globe.

Responsibilities may include:-

Delivery:-

Support execution of technical due diligence or Owner’s Engineer services on large scale energy storage, solar PV and /or wind projects for Investors, Lenders, IPPs and Developers
Monitoring and reporting on projects through the construction and operational phases
Providing technical engineering support on projects at all stages of the project development cycle
Reviewing or developing (as per candidate’s specific experience) of energy resource assessment reports, technology assessments, structural studies, electrical design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, planning permission, health and safety reports, or grid connection documentation
Contributing to business development activities i.e. development of new solutions, proposal writing and client presentations.#LI-KS1

Job Responsibilities:-

Responsibilities will be mainly to assess the renewable energy investment (solar, wind, hybrid etc.) – technically and commercially and provide required guidance that will enable the companies to take strategic decisions.
Technical due diligence, techno-economic viability, covering review of technology, design, contracts, infrastructure, permits and clearances, land area analysis, risk analysis, financial model.
Construction monitoring covering drawdown plan review, project scheduling, tracking on physical progress, tracking on financial progress, quality checks and site safety review.
Review of performance test procedures, witnessing performance tests and preparing performance test reports.
Deliver feasibility and concept design for solar and wind power projects.
Delivering advisory, technical due diligence or owner’s engineer projects for solar, green hydrogen (using solar) and solar associated BESS projects including required econometric assessment.
Review of operation / maintenance performance and revenue monitoring
Tender/bid process management in Wind and Solar PV (Rooftop PV or Utility Scale)
Understanding of policy and regulatory framework for deployment of rooftop PV and utility scale, solar power projects
Experience of consulting support to state level entities and agencies for program design/ development and implementation support for rooftop PV, solar PV projects, solar parks etc.
Basic and Detail Engineering PV plants, Pooling substations and Transmission lines up to 400kV level.
Review of vendors design and documents.

Experience:-

•   BE (Electrical), Masters in Renewable Energy (preferred)
•   Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience solar and wind projects
•   Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector, solar and wind
•   Possess excellent English oral and written communication skills (report writing).
•   Experience for Technical Assistance services for IFI projects (ADB, WB) (preferred)
•   Positive attitude, team player.
•   Flexible to work away from your home office and travel within and outside India
•   Fluency in English, excellent communication and report writing skills

Education:-

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Electrical Engineering
MBA/Post Graduate Degree in Renewable Engineering
