Focus on providing various clients with engineering advice and technical solutions on different projects
Key Accountabilities:-
- Technical due diligence, techno-economic viability, feasibility studies, detailed project reports covering review of technology, design, contracts, infrastructure, permits and clearances, land area analysis, risk analysis, financial model.
- Should have strong knowledge of Contracts and Agreements for the development of Solar or Wind Power Projects.
- 8 to 10 years of technical consulting, lenders, buyers, sellers transaction advisory, engineering and operational experience during your career within the power, solar, wind, renewable energy sectors.
- Construction monitoring covering drawdown plan review, project scheduling, tracking on physical progress, tracking on financial progress, quality checks and site safety review.
- Must have experience with Solar PV systems, battery storage systems, operational performance reviews, technology review, energy yield assessment, financial model review and cost estimations.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to identify technical risks and opportunities within technical documentation and due diligence processes.
- Experience with site visits, site inspections and technical discussions, relating to asset integrity, operational performance, management systems and/or business plans.
- Prepare tenders and proposals in collaboration with department leads
- Review of performance test procedures, witnessing performance tests and preparing performance test reports
- Must exhibit advanced report writing and presentation skills. Experience in a client facing role.
Education:-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
- Master’s Degree in Renewable Engineering
Qualifications:-
- Qualification: B.Tech (mediatory) + M.Tech. (preferred)
- A solid academic background with an engineering bias (for example Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering).
- Software Experience such as PVsyst, Homer, Matlab, etc.
- Management of previous external client projects.
- Experience with decarbonization strategies and technologies.
- Experience reviewing EPC contracts, Financial Models, design and specifications, budgets for industrial projects.
- The ability to lead or manage complex project delivery coordinating multiple workstreams into client deliverables.
- The ability to travel domestic and overseas to perform site visits when required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of current, reasonable costs associated with Capex (Capital Expense) and Opex (Operational Expense) for engineering assets / projects.
