Hydro, Project Engineering Manager

• The Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for the technical execution of the assigned Project in bringing together Products/ product subsystems into a whole and ensuring that those subsystems function together.
• He / She shall be responsible for coordination with Product Management, Technology, CoEs and Project Office functions.
• He / she shall ensure the technical choice is made to ensure the total cost and performance of the project is in line with the target defined for the project as sold.

Responsibilities:-

• Provides work packages to COEs including client requirements, interfaces, planning, quality and cost and the internal / external interface.
• Defines the alternative and the possible optimization at design stage that can impact the design, the supplies or site activities as per the strategy defined by Product Management function.
• Is accountable for the risks and opportunities and margin movement for the his/ her scope.
• Manages drawings and technical documentation (including numbering, O&M documents) -delivers specifications
• Receives and coordinates technical input and feedback to stakeholders (design, site, and customer) from start of Basic Design until Final acceptance,  including the As Built information..
• Accepts or rejects the change in case of deviations from customers requirement and manages changes and issue change orders.
• Accepts or rejects the change in case of deviations from GE standards requirement and manages changes and issue change

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering
• Relevant professional work experience
• Significant experience in managing in a global matrix Environment
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Proven leadership and negotiation skills
• Proven analytical skills and strategic mindset
