HSE Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Shall be single point of contact in INOPC for HSE Support of HSE Site Services in Switzerland.
• Shall be a specialist on a range of HSE areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
• Ensure working practices are safe and comply with international and local legislations.
• Shall carry out activity based risk assessments (ABRA) and propose risk mitigation measures to ensure risks are reduced.
• Shall conduct periodic / Random HSE audits and SOTs and present the outcome.
• Jointly work with HSE Switzerland and site teams to discuss shortfalls in HSE audits outcomes to identify ideas for improvement and prepare strategy for implementing across all service teams.
• Maintain records of inspection findings in a centralized location.
• Shall prepare reports with suggestions in improvement of safe working practices.
• Prepare HSE statistics and KPI reporting for managers on weekly / Monthly basis.
• Prepare contents to produce management reports, newsletters, and bulletins related to HSE.

Qualification And Experience:-

• A Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in working HSE role in an organization with HSE responsibility for a field engineer workforce of minimum 25.
• Must have proven track record of improvement of HSE performance in past organizations.
• Must have successful technical studies in a related field (Electrical, Mechanical etc.).
• International NEBOSH Certificate (must have) or NEBOSH Diploma (preferred).
• Must have Knowledge of Construction on site works.
• Added advantage to have candidates worked in HSE role in Switchgear manufacturing in field services HSE department.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
