Health Safety Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Manager

Responsibilities:-

• Be a change agent for improving the HSEQ culture and developing a climate of HSEQ compliance, transparency and commitment.
• Lead HSEQ for Cement India cluster (includes offices, manufacturing locations and customer sites)
• Support global HSEQ for various activities including but not limited to ISO audits, HSEQ reporting and training.
• Advise and guide line managers for the development, execution and effectiveness of the HSEQ Management systems ensuring that all information is current and valid.
• Develop/implement strategies for HSEQ process improvements in line with local requirements & complying to standards e.g., ISO – 9001/45001/14001
• Manage HSEQ data reporting and train employees on use of various HSEQ tools
• Manage and conduct HSEQ Audits/inspections, risk assessments to ensure effective implementation of corrective/preventive action and closure
• Establish and build relations with relevant authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute towards the communication of important HSEQ information and assist in developing themes; central ideas and activities for HSEQ campaigns

Qualification And Experience:-

• A curious mind with passion for all working with people on HSEQ matters
• Bachelors degree in engineering with NEBOSH certification in occupational safety & health
• 10+ years of work experience in the field of HSEQ preferably in manufacturing setup
• Experience with implementation of ISO standards, internal/external audit and certifications processes (ISO 45001. ISO 14001, ISO 9001)
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001/14001/9001
• Professional experience in leading and conducting incident investigations using recognized methodology
• Hands on with Intelex or similar HSEQ reporting software like Enablon, Sphera etc.
• Working knowledge of developing HSEQ dashboards & using PowerBi and other similar tools
