Grid Simulations Manager (f/m/d)

• Perform steady state simulations like load flow analysis, short circuit analysis and power quality studies (harmonic analysis and flicker analysis) as well as time domain simulations (FRT, FSM… etc.) for solar power plants
• Perform protection coordination studies of the PV Plant Check the compliance of the PV Plant against the respective grid code
• Support the internal engineering team during all design phases of the PV Plant
• Independently conduct correspondence with customers, manufacturers, planners and network operators

Qualification And Experience:-

• Sound in design knowledge in areas of solar plant layouts, SLD, Power Transmission, System loss calculation, & general electrical requirements of large scale solar power plants
• Knowledge of electrical components/system design, identification of right specification according to the project specification as per the standards In depth knowledge in cables, transformer, switchgear, relay, earthing and protection system
• Experience with programs such as DIgSILENT Powerfactory and PSS/E
• ETAP, Matlab Simulink/SimPowerSystems, CYMCAP is of advantage but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
•  Min 3 years of relevant industry experience in grid compliance studies
• Knowledge of grid compliance regulations and their practical implementation in national requirements and industry practices
• Languages: English is our day-to-day working language
