Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • In this exciting position, you will support the development and ensure communication/implementation of the Global Supply Chain Management and Purchasing strategies to improve the effectiveness of the related functions in the Global Product Group Traction & Mobile e-Power Motors. You will also ensure implementation, maintenance, and compliance of assigned processes, activities and initiatives.
  • This role involves analyzing supply-related issues to identify and implement effective solutions, consolidating supplier spend across local units in collaboration with Supply Chain Management teams and global category managers, and documenting best practices to establish harmonized business practices. It also includes facilitating key actions for annual targets with local SCM teams to improve cost reduction, supplier quality, and delivery performance, while supporting long-term planning and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role identifies training needs, fosters change management, ensures clear communication, and enforces business continuity processes within the global organization.
  • The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid
  • The role is contributing to the Motion Traction division, Global Product Group Traction & Mobile e-Power Motors, globally. This position reports directly to the Division SCM Manager, Motion IEC LV Motors.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting development and ensuring implementation of global supply chain management strategies for areas such as direct, raw and indirect materials, strategic sourcing, risk management, supply base management, supplier quality, sustainability including integrity.
  • Contributing to development, implementation and compliance of various SCM and purchasing related processes, procedures, guidelines, KPIs and training materials. Harmonizing the processes and procedures across the local units. Ensuring compliance with the related policies and procedures.
  • Leading/contributing to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. •
  • Analyzing supply-related opportunities or issues to identify best solutions, common solutions across / with the local units and implementing improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications And Experience:-

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
  • Solid understanding of and experience with Motors (ideally Traction motors) is preferred
  • Experience with Supplier Relationship Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Optimization and Supplier Quality Management.
  • Understanding of Strategy & Strategy Implementation, Supply Chain Sustainability and Procure-to-Pay process.
  • Proactive and hands-on work-style.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in an international network setting.
  • Good communication and influencing skills.
  • SAP Ariba skills nice to have.
  • Fluent English language skills.
