Global ITO Sourcing leader

Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.

Role purpose : 

• Represent Sourcing during ITO for his/her respective area. Ensure the interface between Sourcing and Costing & Technical Tendering teams in the preparation of our opportunities.
• In case of project award, participate in the handover process based on the Sourcing Tendering Resume information.
• Ensure cost and Leadtime accuracy, competitive sourcing scheme and relevant Risk and Opportunity analysis
• Ensure implementation of Global Sourcing policy in our ITO activities, contribute to cost optimizations and ensure their validation with his/her regional management and with Global Commodity Leaders.
• Support ITO team in defining the steps required to secure our margins, such as escalation formulas, provisions for firm pricing, hedging.
• Contribute to optimization of sourcing strategy on prioritized product segments.
• Monitor and analyze commodities price evolutions, maintain material cost Data Base & support Hydro Costing Tool deployment.
• Coordination in ITO with the commodity Leader and Global Commodity Leader to deliver the best cost and cycle scenario taking into consideration all CTQs.
• Highlight and mitigate the Sourcing Risk to the ITO Sourcing Leader and to the internal customers (Sales, Commercial operation, Costing).
• Backup the ITO Sourcing function cross region for punctual needs to assure a continuity of the ITO support & service.

Qualification/Requirement : 

• Bachelor in Engineering or Business administration (technical background is preferred).
• Operational purchasing: >5 years experience in Sourcing /Supply Chain/Sales-Costing.
• Experience on Power industry or correlated segments.
• Office Software (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Visio).
• Ability to work in English, in a global environment and matrix organization.
