GFC Senior Program Manager (GSI & Ecosystems) Alstom Bangalore, India Job Posted : Aug 22nd, 2022 Job Description The GFC – GSI PMO is the SPOC for the deployment of GSI (Global Single SAP Instance) & related eco-system in the 2 GFC’s based in Cluj and CEBU (almost 350 people) over the next 2-3 years. The rôle supports the new IS implementation and validates and program manages the deployment of all associated Finance tools along with GSI, that eventually replace the traditional tools in existence in the xBT GFC landscape. The GSI PMO will communicate and ensure the standard process and tool models are deployed and that GSI is usable in all the deployed workstreams internal to GFC. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Project Deployment:- The PMO participates in all the steering review discussions across regions to closely monitor progress on the project and identify any roadblocks/concerns on deployment. He/she helps develop the fit-gap analysis on all activities currently performed in Cluj/Cebu vs GFC Bangalore and sites, along with the respective SME’s, KU’s and identifies key points of concern or areas that need scope/work placement clarification and shortlists potential opportunities to grow GFC or align with the regions in terms of taxonomy in the future state. The PMO also ensures that there is a strong change management process across all the GFC’s deployments to ensure the gaps are identified, discussed internally within GFC to determine end process state and align with existing GFC BLR model. He / She targets high standardization and harmonization across all processes to ensure all GFC’s operate in an end state that is consistent across the 3 hubs to enable GFC convergence in the future. During implementations the GSI PMO also ensures the KU’s and other team members are involved and actively participate in training sessions (as defined by Program), and helps in coaching KU & Roll-outs. The PMO monitors incidents & defects raised by the sites/regions impacting GFC and by GFC’s Key Users. They can propose workarounds. They validate the solution proposed by program and its implementation. He (she) is the entry point for issues raised on activities performed by GFC, for issues characterization & supervision of the problem solving with the IS/Finance BPO team. System and Process Sustainability:- Animation: The PMO validates training guides for the GFC team The PMO creates, sustain & develop Key Users networks within GFC Ensure process consistency with other RBPE/BPO team and GFC BLR teams He/she puts in place and manages usage control ensuring that end-users are well using the system, by assessment performed. The PMO analyses the needs from the KU and if agreed submits the change requests to central GFC team or BPO The GFC PMO is the firsts entry point for key users & department heads concerning the processes performed by GFC. The PMO proposes process upgrades to Global BPO/GFC leads coming from his/her expertise or other workshops with regional teams and other BPOs. The GFC PMO also assesses the KU competencies for skill matrix & development management of the KU (linked with Central). Managerial Responsibilities:- The role will entail oversight of the existing Tools team in GFC Bangalore (GSI & Ecosystems) along with Business Intelligence teams with potential to expand further in the future to cover teams in other GFC locations. Measurement:- Regular update of the KPIs and the process maturity matrix Follow up and closing the action plan Appreciation from BPO/region/site management for GSI usage Quick response to process issues from the site/regions/BPO Providing solutions within GSI for localized processes. Customer:- Constantly listen to the voice of customers and stakeholders and convert them to actions Maintain constant communication with regions and countries to improve visibility of KPIs, monitor status and resolve issues. Act as the business partner to the teams within and outside GFC in accelerating value delivered by GFCs Participate in governance forums with the regions, BPO’s Build and maintain healthy rapport and trust with all up-stream and down-stream stake-holders to the deployment processes in the GFC’s Qualifications & Skills:- EDUCATION:- Graduate or Post-Graduate Language: English (mandatory).
