Full Stack Developer

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer who is comfortable with both front and back-end programming and working in an agile team. Full Stack Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications.

Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for performance and scalability
• Design and construction of our REST API
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

Skills:

• At least 3 years’ experience with:
  • Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
  • Writing backend apps with Python.
  • Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices.
  • Server management and deployment for the relevant environment

• At least 1 year experience in React.js
• Experience in backend frameworks such as Python Flask, or FastAPI
• Experience with databases, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Proficient in working with Linux environment, and familiarity with Linux commands
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficiency with Git
• Appreciation for clean and well documented code.
