Environmental Data Base Professional

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Data management for all laboratory and field requests to ensure quality table creation and control.
• Meet regularly with Data Management Lead and database team to ensure consistent deliverables, and involvement on any database initiatives.
• Maintaining project files including hard copy and electronic filing related to data tables and other data related reports.
• Exercising independent judgment in planning, scheduling, and organizing work assignments.
• Maintain good working relationship with office management and staff across all offices.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in the field of Environmental Engineering.
• 6-9 years of experience in this field.
• Completely proficient in English; bilingual in French is considered an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel, and Access to prepare and maintain databases and tables.
• Self-starter with the competence to take initiative and go beyond what the job situation requires.
• Willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a number of capacities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to change priorities to meet group needs.
• Knowledge of the following software and skills is considered an asset:
  • Earthsoft EQuIS.
  • AutoCAD 2014 or higher.
  • ArcGIS 10.6 and/or ArcGIS Pro.
  • gINT.
  • Advanced Sharepoint skills.
  • Knowledge of sciences and/or environmental industry would be considered an asset.
