Engineering Solutions Developer

As a Engineering Solutions Developer, configuration of software, customization and implementation of Engineering Solutions Tools across Oceaneering globally as well as provide technical guidance. This position is for an experienced CAD, Analysis,PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) development  personnel to handle customization, configuration, and development related activities. Responsibilities include executing administration, configuration and custom changes, and assisting customers with proper usage of Enovia Enterprise PLM software and Engineering tools.

ESSENTIAL:-

• Analyze, design, code, test & debug existing and new programs to support the of the Enterprise PLM
• Develop software integrations between Enovia and existing database systems using Java servlets, adaplets, Web methods, XML, and other related development tools
• Experience with configuring CAD tools such as Solidworks, AutoCAD and other tools is preferred
• Develop Java Server Pages (JSPs), Java servlets, and Java applets to facilitate theEnovia web based interfaces
• Develop Java Program Objects (JPOs) and Tcl/Tk scripts to implement triggers and logic
• Develop and document test procedures and assist with unit, integration, and regression testing activities
• Write and maintain documents to describe application development logic, coding, testing, changes & corrections
• Setup, track and use the source code configuration control software as specified and responsible for quality deliverables from development team.
• Responsible for peer reviews of design, source code and related deliverables to ensure quality.
• Mentor and transfer key technical PLM knowledge to PLM technical team members.
• Responsible for transforming functional specifications into design specifications that need
• Configuration/customization of the OOTB PLM software.
• Technical coordination and collaborate with PLM system admins, DBAs and development teams.
• Command of the latest software development tools and technologies in PLM, PDM and CAD tools
• Work closely with the PLM sys admin to define and develop automated processes to minimize manual effort to implement the upgrades, releases and patches.
• Ability to work regularly, dependably and function in a team environment.

Qualification And Experience:-

• BS/MS Software Engineering (preferred) or ME, EE, IE with software programming skills
• Overall 6+ years’ experience in the CAD, PDM,PLM applications
• Experience with ANSYS/ any other analysis engineering simulation tools is preferred
• Experience with customization of eMatrix/Enovia Central applications
• Experience with 2019x version & above of the Enovia Central applications and the associated development environment (MQL, ADK, AEF, Designer Central, etc.)
• Experience in using Linux, Microsoft operating systems and scripts
• Experience in web apps using Tomcat,Weblogic servers and HTML, Java Script and J2EE technologies
• Experience with V6R version of software is preferred.
