Engineer / Sr. Engineer – QMS

Responsibilities:-

• Creation & Implementation of engineering business processes in central production engineering department covering the needs in shop floor & process, tooling , project management and launch teams
• Processes related to NPI and Rollout of new products to factories
• Change Management – to identify, create & implement improved business processes across the organization
• Prepare the go-live sessions pertaining to implementing new processes
• Identification of and innovative mitigation of key risks including appropriate communication to local key stakeholders and management team
• Will be responsible for implementation of the new system in the Production and other areas in the factories – this requires deep knowledge & experience in manufacturing processes and in Tooling as well
• Motivate shop floor IT business improvement projects with involvement of factories and IT department

Qualifications:-

• Degree in Engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing industry
• Extensive knowledge in Quality management system
• Extensive Knowledge in PPAP/APQP
• Extensive knowledge in New product development processes
• Experience with lean / Six sigma tools is an added advantage
• Fluent in English (written & verbal)

• Understand the Production setup and processes in the Production
• Change management skills (good in communication, training, coaching)
• Self-focused, innovative – take responsibility to ensure progress and results
• Open and seek collaboration with team-members + engage innovative approach with Local factory staff in each region across the Globe
• Ability to work in a Central competence center supporting Units from remote and onsite as required focusing on continuous business improvement activities and optimization projects across factories in the area of Production Engineering
• Experience in Technical writing is an added advantage
