Engineer – Sheet Metal component Design

Responsibilities:-

• Design and Develop Sheet Metal Component for products (CHARMS) of PSS.
• Prepare mechanical assemblies and drawings for design and manufacturing.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA etc. and implement the findings.
• Prepare various documentations like manufacturing drawings, engineering specifications, test plans and procedures.
• Support all the tasks for development projects in meeting the project goals.
• Work in flexible hours as needed to support local and remote engineering center(s).

Education & Experience:-

• BE/B Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering With minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant work Experience.
• Relevant experience in sheet metal work like cutting, bending, forming, lancing, slitting, punching etc. is must.
• Experienced within mechanical and engineering design tools like solid edge.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding would be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:-

• Experience in Sheet metal and Plastic component Design and development.
• Relevant experience in sheet metal work like cutting, bending, forming, lancing, slitting, punching etc. is must.
• Experience in handling and creating 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, PDM etc.

Soft Skills:-

• Self-motivated to perform in design projects/tasks
• Possess analytical, problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

• Pune, Maharashtra.
