Engineer – PHE

• Be in charge for planning and design of all building services elements of the particular discipline.
• Be in charge for concept design based on evaluation for various options in coordination with architectural, structural input and in accordance with initial load estimates.
• Do design calculations and quantity estimation.
• Ensure all design work is carried out in accordance with Company’s quality standard procedures
• Coordination between other sections/disciplines.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Be B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical /Civil-Environmental Engineering discipline.
• Have 4 to 7 years of experience in Public Health Engineering & Firefighting design, in roles of increasing responsibility and project complexity
• Experience in high rise buildings/shopping malls/hotels/metro projects etc.,
• Experience in design of internal/external water supply, sewerage and drainage (storm water and surface water), sprinkler, hydrant and gas based firefighting systems.
• Design of infrastructure water supply, sewerage, drainage and irrigation networks for small developments
• well versed in reviewing and checking of drawings and calculations
• Good awareness and knowledge in developing BOQ
• Familiarity with local authority codes and regulations such as of local Municipality, Water Authority, drainage and sewerage department, environment authority etc., of countries in which the candidate has job experience
• Good knowledge of relevant international codes and regulations such as NFPA/IPC/CIBSE/BS/BSEN/PESDG etc.,
• Knowledge in sustainable green building practices and rating guidelines
• Should have good oral and written communication skills and liaise with clients directly
• Mott MacDonald is a leader in the adoption of BIM and therefore the use of REVIT/ AECOsim would be highly regarded
