Job Description

Responsibilities:-

In your role, your focus will be to carry out the following tasks in ANSYS

  • Preparation of design models with good quality meshing and well-conceived boundary conditions
  • Detailed FE calculations of the ultimate and fatigue capacity of structural components on the Oil & Gas and Wind farm substations
  • Prepare reports leading to authority approval/certification of the structures
  • Carry our quality assurance of design and calculations done by other engineers
  • Take responsibility for definition and solution of own tasks

Qualifications And Experience:-

Candidates must have 1 to 5 years of professional experience in designing steel structures in ANSYS APDL, Workbench and LSDYNA. Furthermore, we expect you to have the following qualifications

  • Master’s in mechanical or civil engineering from reputed colleges/universities
  • Must have 1 to 5 years of professional experience in designing steel structures and welds using ANSYS and have exposure to APDL scripting & ACT programming.
  • Minimum 3 Projects / Tasks in Industry should be completed.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex assignments
  • Strong solid mechanics background and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience of programming, preferably Python, APDL
  • Accustomed to working in an international environment and in accommodating to different cultures
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
  • Exposure to Offshore Oil & Gas and Wind standards
