Engineer – Civil (Water and Wastewater Treatment)

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Is able to carry out civil engineering design like hydraulic calculations/ analysis, specifications, BOQs, drawings, Civil general arrangement drawings, pipe L-sections, prepare and review tenders, detailed design/engineering of water/wastewater treatment works as per industry/client’s standards.
• Familiarity with BS standards and UK water company specifications would be preferable.
• Can perform required design activities associated with project life-cycle in line with client’s standards, specifications, and codes of practice.
• Has a good understanding of latest treatment technologies and processes.
• Is familiar with preparation of various reports and other project documentation and can ensure that all documentation is current, accurate and in compliance as per Clients requirement.
• Understands and adheres to budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Communicates and liaises effectively with internal and external clients, vendors, subcontractors, consultants etc.
• Recognizes, defines and resolves problems within assigned area.
• Understands and promotes best practice in health, safety and environmental matters.

Qualification And Experience:-

Essential Candidate Requirements:

• Display a previous successful portfolio of civil designing experience
• Degree/Diploma qualified in civil engineering or another appropriate subject and be Chartered or working towards Chartered membership of an appropriate professional engineering institution
