Engineer – Automation

• To meet increasing workload both to grow and sustain our operation in India, we are seeking qualified Automation engineer, based at Vadodara to expand the existing expertise within our engineering team.
• Automation engineer have responsibility for all aspects of design, development and commissioning of automation system for medium and large size projects.

Responsibilities:-

• Design, development and commissioning of automation systems unassisted or within a team to achieve desired project targets.
• Ability to test, troubleshoot, modify and maintain automation systems.
• Write automation and computer software programs as necessary.
• Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process control system, strategies and other methods for ensuring strong outputs, reliability and efficiencies.
• Must be able to work independently, remotely, and with minimal supervision.
• Must be capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar education background.
• Min Work Experience 5-7 years.
• Experience on  Dairy and Food Industry automation system is preferred.

Technical Skills:-

• Minimum 5 years experience using medium / large DCS applications.
• Must have experience of Rockwell Plant PAX.
• Extensive experience in applicable engineering activity with varying duties / functions from system design through to commissioning.
• Experience of commissioning and troubleshooting of Profibus/Profinet and Industrial Ethernet Network components.
• Experience of third party communication to various automation systems via communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus/Profinet, OPC DA/UA, Ethernet/IP etc.).
• Knowledge of computer networks, Firewall configuration and routing, IT/OT networks.
• Basic knowledge of instrumentation, electrical switchgear, installations would be advantageous.
• Solid understanding of PLC/SCADA systems & DCS systems in food and dairy industry.
• Experience on other control system platform like TIA Portal, PCS7 shall be added advantage.

Languages known:-

• Must have Fluency in English.

Travel Requirements:-

• The Engineer would be based in India office.
• Extensive travel to site for commissioning ( approximate 50%).

Other Qualifications:-

• Computer literacy with Mail Outlook.
• Microsoft Office Products Word, Excel, MS Project, Access, Visio.
• Automation project management.
• Quickly learn new methods, both in your knowledge domain and beyond.
• Good understanding of Automation system and industrial software’s.
• Good understanding of Electricals and Instrumentations.
• Industrial Process knowhow and exposure for Food and Dairy industry.
• Demonstrate problem solving capabilities.
• Team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
