Energy Analyst – ESS

We seek a highly motivated and dynamic Analyst in our Gurgaon office to support our work on consulting services for electricity (including renewables) and natural gas markets of India.  The selected candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality outputs and services, typically working on multiple projects with our internal and external clients.  The selected candidate will also have an opportunity to apply experience and academic knowledge, and interact with experts and clients in the field, while continuing to build content knowledge and consulting skills. Candidate should be flexible to work on other markets when required.

Position Responsibilities:-

• Supporting and at times lading requests for proposals and making recommendations for energy purchasing to large industrial organizations
• Producing and performing client specific analysis focusing on energy including but not limited to electricity, natural gas and renewables
• Working, managing and maintaining Schneider tools/models
• Extensive quantitative and industry analysis required for managing clients and assignments.
• Responsible for production of energy market reports and publications
• Contribute in generating new business (research on new ideas, assistance in proposal writing, business development presentations etc.)
• Working in cross functional teams to develop quality outputs and maintain client relations
• Perform other duties as necessary. Supporting sales and operation teams as and when required for consulting projects

Essential Skills and Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce/engineering, MBA or energy experience would be desirable
• 5-7 years relevant experience
• Advanced level of skill using Excel

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
