ELV ENGINEER – PAF

Head Design Consultant –ELVand ICT system role conducts and supports the delivery of designs & input exchange across discipline. He should have experience in all types of building projects like Airports, Commercial spaces like Offices/IT buildings, Public spaces like stadia, malls, Hotels, Convention centre etc, Hospitals and data centre projects

• Knowledge in Data centre, Telecom rooms, server room , BHS server, AODB, NOCC room design as per ISO standards 
• Responsible for inter-discipline coordination as design requirement 
• Draft or input into technical design specification in Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) format.  
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines in form of memorandum or sketches/mark-ups 
• Support relevant technical tender evaluation  
• Knowledge in Airport ICT System related design will be added advantage 
• Ensure that all designs are reviewed to the required standards 
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline 
• Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables 
• Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies 
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager 
• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required 
• Contribute to the delivery of the BU strategy. Including supporting the companies approach to sustainability 
• Ensure QMS and Project Lifecycle compliance across team and projects 
• Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline 
• Feedback on all business development opportunities 
• Manage consultants, client, contractors and system integrators to ensure the successful implementation and commissioning of the ICT infrastructures and Airport systems 

Qualifications  And Experience:-

• MTech/B.Tech or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 20 to 25 years post graduate experience in all ELV and ICT Systems 
• Proficient with Building structured cabling design and MS Office, CAD, Visio and other design tools 
• Strong knowledge of network topologies and carrier connectivity requirements 
• Ability to interface with multiple teams 
• Must possess strong written / verbal communication skills and ability to create and present reports 
• Experience with DCIM / IIM tools 

Desired Skills:-

• Should have 20 to 25 years Design experience on ELV and ICT systems. 
• Excellent intellectual and analytical skills – ability to structure problem statements and be the catalyst for uncovering new ways to solve problems 
• Relevant experience in system engineering and design support in Airport,Data center,public spaces ,Hospitals etc. 
• Any certification related to IT Passive & Active (RCDD, CCDA, JNCDA, etc..,) and ELV systems 
• Good knowledge on technical specification, design calculation and analysis of the requirement of all the ELV and ICT systems. Also, should have experience of carrying out the inspection of these systems. The person who have software knowledge of the systems will have an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of national/international codes pertaining to these systems & capable of sharing the input requirements for these airport systems to architect, structure, electrical, security systems & mechanical. 
• Understanding of Network Protocols, Server Hardware’s, Storage & interface with other Services 
• ICT Passive Cabling design  
• ICT Active Equipment design 
• Responsible for structured cabling design validation and finalization of connectivity solutions to Equipment Rooms / Technology Rooms 
• Knowledge on fiber loss calculation 
• Work with teams to create Copper & Fiber bunching lists across 
• Responsibilities will also include structured cabling validation check list during implementation, updating stacking plans, design plans and communication to the broader team for review and commercial impact 
• Candidate must have a strong sense of ownership and be confident driving multiple projects 
• Thorough understanding of IP Packet flow, Layer 3 – IP and related technologies (ICMP, TCP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, VRRP), IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and Layer 2 technologies 
• Knowledge in DAS & TRMS system. 
• Knowledge on ELV safety and security systems:
