Electronics Staff Senior Hardware Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our Power Monitoring Bangalore Operations.  Reporting to the Manager Electronics Hardware, you will be focusing on Hardware Design , RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Failure Analysis, at SEPMBO. The primary responsibility of the role includes (but is not limited to):

• Component Selection: Strong understanding on component selection keeping design margins in consideration, obsolescence management, Value engineering.
• Engineering Documentation: Bill Of Material, Engineering Change Orders/Proposals, Preparation of Test Plan, Test Procedures, Work Instruction.

Key Elements of the role:-

• RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Failure Analysis
• FMEA, Troubleshooting, Simulation
• Microcontroller based system design – testing
• Derating Analysis / Worst Case Analysis, EMI-EMC, energy

Qualifications:-

Requirements for the Role:-

• 6+ years of Experience in Engineering Documentation: Bill Of Material, Engineering Change Orders/Proposals
  Should be familiar with ORCAD / Allegro / Protel for Schematic Entry. Should be able to guide PCB Designers for preparation of Lay-out.
• Experience / Knowledge on simulation tools would be an added advantage.
• Basic Ability to read, write and speak in English, Understand and Speak in local language.
• B.E./B.Tech ECE/EEE
