Electrical Maintenance Engineer

responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:-

• Safety is paramount, ensure safety of men, material & machine.
• Plan the maintenance job of the day – Preventive, Breakdown, Predictive, OBM, etc.,
• Collaboration with site safety team for preparation HIRA, SOP and OCP for the specific task
• Ensure availability and adhering of checklist / protocol for carrying out maintenance job
• Mobilize resources including spares and consumables Tools & tackles for carrying out the activity
• Carry out Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and troubleshooting, carryout corrective action
• Ensure availability of Permit to Work, LOTOTO and EI
• Execute maintenance activities as per plan and avoid rework; Supervise and guide the team for carrying out the maintenance activities as per the plan, ensure following of safe standard operating procedures
• Hand over the equipment in good condition to operate after taking trial, ensuring cleanliness and removal of tools, tackles, used spares or consumables, or any other material used for carrying out the maintenance job. Close the permits and ensure the equipment is energized as per the safety procedure.
• Documentation and maintaining equipment maintenance history
• Co-ordinate with Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Team
• Update maintenance records, equipment history, and other MIS database
• Timely report preparation and submission
• Coordinate with other functions to execute the work safely and effectively carrying out the maintenance activities
• Adopt LLF (Look, Listen and Feel) system to ensure equipment/system are running properly and caution operation if any abnormality is observed and initiate O&M QR if required.
• Achieve cordial relation among team members
• Adhere to ISO standards
• Follow up with AMC contractor for effective maintenance and trouble shooting
• Trouble shooting of PLC, SCADA & AC VFD drives

Qualification And Experience:-

• A relevant bachelors level qualification, ideally an engineering degree
• At least 10 years’ experience within the mining industry preferable.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of VFDS PLC systems and how to improve them
• Demonstrated experience with installation and maintenance of equipment and parts.
• Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience in using standard MS Office suite of programs is required
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, contractors, and other personnel daily.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning and housekeeping standards.
• Must have experience in trouble shooting of VFD drives, ABB PLC, and SCADA systems.
