Electrical Engineer – Renewables

Renewables:-

• Experienced in overseeing and contributing to the success of large scale solar, wind and battery storage projects as electrical engineer.
• Guides clients on optimal electrical systems and requirements tailored to meet their needs, ensuring full compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Experienced in design and review of detailed single-line diagrams (SLD) for high/medium/low voltage systems. Experience in design and review of layouts for forementioned renewable energy projects.
• Performs and reviews design calculation for electrical equipment like transformers, cables, DC UPS systems, diesel generators, lighting, grounding, lightning protection systems etc.
• Understands protective device coordination, relay selection, medium voltage transformers and switchgears, medium and low voltage distribution system.
• Experienced in preparation and reviews of electrical equipment specifications such as MV/HV transformers, switchgears, inverters, cables, and other electrical commodities.
• Performs and reviews power system studies including load flow or reactive power studies, short circuit studies, arc flash, harmonic analysis etc.
• Software skills such as ETAP/PSSE, CYMCAP, Agi32/Dialux, etc.
• Good understanding of relevant industry standards, codes, and compliance requirements for renewable energy projects.
• Monitor work progress against plan, report on progress and propose remedial measures as and when necessary. Perform other functions as may be assigned by Team Lead from time to time.
• Preparation of non-compliance report, prepare check list, project completion report and attend meeting with clients.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering environment with utilities, EPC contractors or design consultants
• Able to independently deliver project deliverables.
