Draughtsman for PV Solar Project (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

Performing the following engineering functions including but not limited to

• Determination of work scope consolidate the design inputs.
• Assemble documents packages and develop drawing sets to be reviewed by engineer.
• Ensure to quantify factors affecting arrangement and installation of equipment and components.
• Preparation of in-house drawings and explain prepared drawings.
• Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches.
• Preparation of As-built drawings precisely.
• Quick response to the team and able to amend/modify drawings.
• Efficient to prepare SLDs, Equipment GA, foundation, section drawings, Layouts for PV project of different capacities.
• Maintaining project engineering records

General Requirements:

• Sound in drafting knowledge in areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil works of plant BOS, Lighting, Circuiting, conduiting, cable scheduling, fittings, walkways, frames, canopy for all size of PV projects.
• Structural foundation design for control room foundation footings, Prefab/modular structure, Inverter duty transformer, substation equipment foundation footings, cable trench design, Cable trench support design, 2Pole/ 4 Pole power evacuation structure.
• Developing BoQ and design document list.
• Foundation drawing for control room foundation footings, substation equipment foundation footings, Power transformer foundation design, Cable trench design, Cable trench support design etc.
• Detailed project BOQ for Electrical, Mechanical, & Civil works

Qualification and Educational Requirements:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical from institute of Repute.
• Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory and Sketchup, Dialex, Calculux are preferrable.
• Min 3 years of relevant industry experience in solar plant design
• Knowledge of IS codes and industry practices
