Drafting Engineer for Solar PV Projects

Roles and Responsibilities:-

Performs following functions including but not limited to:

• Able to consolidate design and engineering inputs and determine scope.
• Plan his/her work and set timeline as per the MDL.
• Assemble documents, packages and develop drawing sets to be reviewed by engineers.
• Able to quantify factors affecting arrangement and installation of equipment and components.
• Preparation of in-house drawings and explain prepared drawings.
• Able to estimate quantity and cross-check the same as per drawings before further submissions.
• Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches.
• Preparation of As-built drawings precisely.
• Quick response to the team and able to amend/ modify drawings quickly as per the requirements.
• Efficient to prepare Single Line Diagram, Equipment general arrangement, foundation, section drawings, Layouts for Solar PV projects of different capacities.
• Maintaining project engineering records
• Knowledge of electrical components and understanding of the specification.
• Updated about latest industry practices and optimized requirement for solar projects.

Qualification And Experience:-

• ITI/Diploma in Civil/Electrical from institute of Repute.
• Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory
• Autodesk Inventor, Helios, and Sketchup,Dialex,,Calculux are preferrable.
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in solar PV plant design-draughts
• Knowledge of IS codes and industry practices

Your Profile:-

• Training as a tax specialist or a degree in business management, as well as several years of relevant professional experience in an international environment, ideally with a further qualification as a tax consultant
• Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written (other languages an advantage)

General Requirements:-

• Sound in drafting knowledge in areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil works of plant BOS, Lighting, Circuiting, conduiting, cable scheduling, fittings, walkways, frames, canopy for all size of PV projects.
• Structural foundation design for control room foundation footings, Prefab/ modular structures, Inverter duty transformer, substation equipment foundation footings, cable trench design, Cable trench support design, 2-Pole/ 4-Pole structure for power evacuation equipment installation.
• Developing BoQ and design document list.
• Foundation drawing for control room foundation footings, substation equipment foundation footings, Power transformer foundation design, Cable trench design, Cable trench support design etc.
• Detailed project BOQ for Electrical, Mechanical, & Civil works for Solar PV Projects
• Quick response to the team and ensure timely delivery.
• Quick to modify/ revise the drawings/layouts.
