DPL Project Lead

This position is based out of VTSC Bangalore and requires BE Mechanical / Industrial Production with 10+ yrs of experience and Knowledge in automotive electronics product domain, Plastic parts design, Die casting, Decoration technologies and Project management.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead Mechanical Design Activity
• Liaise with Peer and Stakeholders
• Ensure Product Quality
• Budget Management and Cost Reduction
• Support Department Process Improvement Initiative
• Training and Mentoring
• Authorize drawings, justification documents, Inspection reports, AAR, etc…
• Ensure process adherence
• Participate in Organization and Departmental audits
• Undertake failure analysis
• Support current production issues
• Support in warranty and failure analysis of customer complaints
• Estimate efforts and costs associated to NBW
• Support concept generation activities related to definition of the mechanical architecture
• Participate in global DPL reviews
• Preparing project plans and ensuring projects are delivered with KPI’s associated to project deliverables.
• Risk identification and analysis
• VAVE for the projects
• Analysing the mechanical requirements for the product
• Change Management
• DFMEA – creation, conduct and participate in review with customer and internal stake holders
• Interact and align with Manufacturing team
• Customer and suppliers communication
