Design / Project Engineer – PLC 1

The Role:-

• Be a constructive team member for a global control system engineering team working for domestic and overseas customer.
• Preferred to have working experience with Centrifugal Compressors, Screw compressor, Reciprocating compressors, Vacuum system, Turboexpander etc.
• Study the customer specifications related to Instrumentation & control systems for selection of control systems and field instruments.
• Create the Instrumentation and control system related drawings and documents like  logic diagram, I/O List, Bill of material, PLC related documents like Communication list, Alarm/trip list, signal list, Monitor screen documents and customized documents as per customer requirement etc.
• Expertise in writing and testing Python code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third party web services.
• Expertise in popular Python frameworks (like Django, Flask or Pyramid).
• Good knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).
• Must be Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
• Knowledge on Nod-Red, PostGreSQL and JSON Server use in applications.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
• Good understanding of Hardware and software development for fast processing
• Mobile and Desktop App development for secure and reliable distribution of final Application.
• Knowledge on Robotics programming, Teaching robots and simulation of programs.
• Good knowledge of PLC Programming in all languages (STL, FBD, Ladder etc)  for all Siemens PLC platforms like S7-200,300,400.400H,1200,1500 series PLC’s, and HMI’s like basic, Comfort and SCADA.
• Knowledge and experience of handling/configuration of various communication protocols.
• BN 3500 vibration monitoring system knowledge & programming is an added advantage.
• Should have independently handled onsite support activities like FAT/SAT/Commissioning for PLC based control System.
• Preparation of work instructions, check lists, standard procedure etc related to ISO requirement.
• Good to have working knowledge on design software AutoCad Electrical as well as MS Office etc.
•  Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions, document approval process.
•  Upon requirement, should able to co-ordinate and manage with management trainee to meet customer’s engineering support requirement.
• Continuously innovate the ideas to improve the Quality aspect of engineering & Programming.

Qualification And Experience:-

• BE / B Tech / M Tech. in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering / Electronics/ E & TC with Minimum 4 years of designing and programming experience in project execution in an engineering or product organisation.
• Experience of handling various PLC related projects with Python coding for world class Atlas Copco Product Dealing with Domestic and overseas customers

Software skill requirement:-

Must be proficient in:-

• Python coding and debugging.
• Siemens Programming for all programming software (Microwin, Simatic Manager Step 7, TIA professional, WinCC Flexi, WinCC Comfort, WinCC Advance, WinCC SCADA etc.)  and with all languages like CFC, STL, FBD, Ladder, etc.
• Good communication skill and learning ability.

Preferred to have good knowledge of:-

• BN 3500 Programming software
• Rockwell Programming for all programming software (Control Logix, Compact Logic, Micrologix, Factory talk view ME & SE)  and with all languages like STL, FBD, Ladder, etc.
• Robotics programming and debugging.
• AutoCAD Electrical
• Excel/ VBA
